General terms of sale

1. Who sells

Products bought on barriqule.com and barricati.it are sold by Barriqule di Del Tufo, Via Vernazza 13, 12051 Alba (CN), Italy, VAT no. IT03912180043, REA CN-323594, tel. +39 0173 282435, email info@barriqule.com (hereinafter "Barriqule"). These terms apply to purchases by consumers; all rights granted by the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005) remain unaffected.

2. Products and prices

The main characteristics of each product are shown on its product page. Colours and sizes on screen may differ slightly from the real product. Prices are in euros and include VAT; any shipping costs are shown before you confirm the order. If a published price is clearly wrong we will contact you before shipping: you can confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.

3. How the contract is concluded

Choose your products, enter the requested details and confirm the order with the payment button, which implies an obligation to pay. The contract is concluded when you receive the order confirmation email, summarising the products, total price, costs and these terms. If a product is not available we will let you know straight away and you can choose to wait, receive a replacement or get a full refund within 14 days.

4. Payment

You can pay by card or other methods via Stripe, or with PayPal. Payment details are handled directly by these providers: Barriqule never sees or stores your full card details.

5. Delivery

For products in stock we normally ship by the next working day after the order, and in any case within 30 days. Delivery times given by the courier are estimates. The risk of loss or damage passes to you only on delivery. Check the parcel when it arrives and, if it is damaged, accept it "with reservation".

6. Right of withdrawal

You may withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of the day on which you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, receive the products. You can do so:

• using the button Withdraw from the contract here, found at the bottom of every page of the site;
• or by sending an explicit statement to info@barriqule.com or by post, also using the model form below.

You can also cancel an order free of charge before it ships. After notifying your withdrawal, return the products within 14 days; return costs are covered by us with the prepaid label we send you (see the Returns page).

We will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs, within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, using the same payment method used for the purchase. We may withhold the refund until we receive the products or proof that they have been sent. You are only liable for any loss in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature and characteristics (for example, trying them on as you would in a shop).

Exclusions. The right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to measure or clearly personalised (art. 59(c) of the Consumer Code), such as glasses with prescription lenses made to your prescription or frames customised at your request.

7. Legal guarantee of conformity

All products are covered by the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery (art. 128 et seq. of the Consumer Code). If there is a defect you are entitled, free of charge, to repair or replacement and, if these are not possible, to a price reduction or termination of the contract. You must report the defect within 2 months of discovering it by writing to info@barriqule.com. More information on the Legal guarantee page. Scratches on lenses caused by normal use are not conformity defects.

8. Complaints and disputes

For any complaint write to info@barriqule.com: we will reply as soon as possible. You can also contact an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body listed under art. 141-decies of the Consumer Code. The contract is governed by Italian law; disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the court of the consumer's place of residence or domicile, if in Italy.
